I would hang some of these pages on my walls because they are so beautiful. You make Philadelphia look so good.

Your talent amazes me.

Love you.

Mean it.

Every page of this makes me smile like a fool with happiness and awe~~! Some because I feel a special personal connection to the people, some because you have such a fabulous way a pairing words with lovely images, some because of the quirky joys of Philly you illuminate through ink/pencil/etc, and some simply because the attention to detail is baffling. You are a gem Ms. Emily!

I had to come back to look at it all over again and found things I had missed on my other visit.
This is an amazing book, Emily. The art work, the hand lettering, the composition - truly good.

Wow, I just had the chance to really look through this loveliness. It really is awesome, you are awesome! I have only one question; Where is my Christmas tea?

I can't believe I'm just seeing this now! It turned out AWESOME! Is that me in the picture about the lazy weekend? If so, I would like to substitute all actual pictures of me with your renderings. I find them far more flattering than a camera.

Very inspiring. I'm starting a Basic Drawing class tomorrow evening & expect I'll be marking a few pages in a sketchbook, myself. You've set the bar pretty high, I must say.

*smile*

P.S. Your aunt, Kate, sent me over.
